August 19th

For anyone that was wondering, yes I’ve kinda put the other things on hold for the past few days to focus on making the videos for the donations plus working 11 hours a day this week. It was my first week as estimator for the fambiz, and it went much more smoothly than I anticipated. The actual estimating/sales part comes pretty easily, but the devil is in the details as they say, and I spent a LOT of extra time going over job cards (the layout/instructions for the crews to complete the work I’ve estimated) to make sure that they were filled out correctly and readable. My handwriting is atrocious.

I’ll be picking back up on the juggling and trumpet Tuesday.

I have a bit of a headache tonight for whatever reason (probably too much awesome crammed up in there) So I’ve decided to post-pone the videos until tomorrow, so I can give my maximum effort,  also that will give me time to make sure that Mr. Ryan Bush actually pays before I do something so stupid as drinking a gallon of milk in 15 minutes. There is one video I took tonight below though, to tide you over until tomorrow.

Side note…My friend Crystal and her husband were eating dinner at 3rd Base Bar and Grill here in town, and they invited me to come down and snag a 20 dollar donation for the girls’ recovery fund. So if anyone else wants to be a big pile of badass and follow their lead, just let me know where I can drive to pick up the donation and that’s that. Thanks Crystal, that made my day.

So last night there was this benefit…

…and karma is real:

That would be 7th row Bears tickets that I won at the benefit. Random draw, out of thousands and thousands of tickets. I was very very happy. Right before Mid West Hype took the stage (P.S. Mid West Hype…just really cool guys making really good music) I was auctioned off. 180 dollars later, Jim was the lucky winner. He says it’s for his sister. Mmmmhmm sure Jim, whatever you say. All in all, the benefit was a rousing success, and just because the benefit is over, doesn’t mean the road to recovery is over for the family. I’d say it’s a great start though.

For now…here’s a video, these nice young ladies didn’t know what I was doing…but I had a video request to sing an 80’s ballad to try to pick up chicks…So I chose “Don’t Know Much” by Aaron Neville…impersonation and all:

Have a great week everyone!
