I went into work today feeling like I partied with John Belushi and Chris Farley last night. I left and went home and slept for about 5 hours, then made it to the doctor. Strep Throat!
I’ve never been this kind of sick before. I’m not coughing, I’m not congested, and I don’t have a bad headache. I just can’t even stand without being immediately exhausted, and my throat is 70% closed off and aches something fierce. I also have a fever. Doc says the good news is that after I start antibiotics (which I just started about 2 hours ago) I should feel relatively better in a day or so.
The good news for my weight loss plan is that I don’t feel like eating ANYTHING. So I’ve just been drinking lot’s of water and sleeping. YOLO.
I did manage to head over to my parents’ house for a healthy dinner, so that was good. Now I’m going to pass out again.
