Today I worked and came home and I don’t feel very good so I’m sitting/laying in my bed and binge watching Key and Peele.
It’s so much better than I thought it was going to be, and I thought it was going to be great.
Here’s my random act of kindness. I was contacted today about dressing up like Thor and going to a kid’s birthday party. It’s next Friday and I’m doing it. If you have a kid that likes Thor and think would like to meet him as well, let me know, I’m sure we could make that happen. The look on their face is awesome.
I’m hoping to be back to the gym tomorrow or Saturday, this really isn’t so much fun, but it reminds me that I take for granted every day that I’m not hurt or sick. So it’s a good thing.
I was told the other day that me being so positive was really annoying. I answered that with “Thank you for the critique, that helps me be a better person!” which, I don’t know if you know this or not, translates into “Die in a fire”. Plus if you respond to negativity with more positive vibes, it REALLY pisses people off and I think I could survive off that feeling instead of food. That was a weird tangent.

I only ate like 1000 calories today. I don’t even remember what it was…flatbread something that I made. It was very roast beefy…I think it might have been roast beef.

I think the one of the little girls having a Hannah Montana concert getting plowed over by the Gator is pretty funny. Maybe because I have boys… The other 2 not so much, but not in a mom “that is so awful” way. I hope you feel better soon!

Ben – I have so much to say about this post. (It is weird that I’m commenting on your blog all the time? Am I a blog stalker?)
(1) I really like the subway video. I’m a bit of a grouchy CTA rider, and it makes me wonder what I would do if a stranger tried to sleep on me. I did once give a Kleenex to a woman who was crying, though, so maybe I get nice person points for that.
(2) I hope you feel better soon.
(3) I actually met Keegan Michael Key. I did an arts program for a semester in college. It was in Chicago when he was still in Second City and he came to speak to our class. I also saw him a couple times in his S.C. show. He’s really nice, brilliant, and obviously hilarious. I’ve kept an eye on his career ever since and am so glad he’s doing well.
(4) Related to (3) – have you ever been to Second City in Chicago? If not, you HAVE to go. If you come to Chicago, Kevin and I will take you and pay for your ticket and your beer and everything and you can sleep in our second bedroom and you can bring Millie and she can hang with Molly while we’re gone. That’s how strongly I feel about you seeing Second City. (Plus that just sounds like fun.) I think you’d love it. I think anybody would love it, but especially you.
I think all the gifs are funny but I especially love the goat knocking over the kid (play on words since the goat appears to be a kid as well). Sometimes my Shepherds run into me like that and I feel like falling over too.
